This blog article is intended for Initial IT Managed Service clients only
At Initial IT, your security is our top priority.
With cyber threats becoming more sophisticated, social engineering attacks are on the rise, and bad actors are now attempting to impersonate trusted providers like us to gain access to your systems.
To counter this, we’ve implemented a Zero Trust Policy. That means every inbound support call from our team can be verified by you at any time. It’s quick, simple, and designed to give you total peace of mind.
Because when it comes to your security, trust is something we earn every time.

How to Verify Your Technician in 6 Simple Steps
We’ve made it easy for you and your team to confirm you're speaking with a genuine Initial IT technician
Save us as a contact
Add our dedicated verification number to your phone: 07481 341503
Text #verify from your mobile, send the message #verify to the number above.
Receive a 6-digit code
You’ll get a random code instantly. Your technician will receive the same code within their service ticket.
Hear the code from our tech
The technician will read out the code to you. It must match the one you received.
Confirm the match
If the codes match, reply with #confirm to verify the technician.
You're done
You’ll receive an automated confirmation message:“The Technician Verification has been successfully completed.”
Now you can proceed confidently, knowing you're speaking with a verified member of our team
